We provide a compassionate euthanasia service in our clinic in Forest Glen.
Electing euthanasia for your pet is an emotional time that is never an easy decision, even when the decision clearly has to be made.Â
Euthanasia provides a passage “over the rainbow bridge” in a peaceful way, allowing a beloved pet to pass with dignity.
If your pet’s euthanasia is imminent, but you still have questions about the timing or the process, we recommend booking a veterinary consultation first. We can talk about how to know when it’s time, what to expect and your options for dealing with your pet’s remains. Â
We can also provide a home-visit euthanasia service for our patients local on the Sunshine Coast with adequate notice.
For clients dealing with grief post euthansia, we have support you can access. We have a referral program to the University of the Sunshine Coast’s counselling service. Final year undergraduate and post-graduate counselling students are available for up to 90 minutes free counselling for any client dealing with grief or other emotional concerns after pet loss.
To utilise this service, please fill out this form and they will be in touch. You can also then access additional subsidised counselling services should you need further support.
