With previous Puppy Kindy graduates, one of the main benefits we noticed (and reported by their families) was how much those puppies have continued to enjoy coming to our clinic.
Their visits were a positive, fear-free experience for them. Which helped to build trust in us. And has meant all future vet visits have been much less stressful – for the dogs, and their humans!
We love it when our patients actually ENJOY coming to see us. But getting groups of boisterous, rambunctious puppies together all at once was distracting and at times chaotic.
So we revisited our Puppy Kindy model, and have re-launched our new and improved offer. We’re calling it ‘The Puppy Bond’. Why? Because the format allows bonding time for you and your pup, and helps bond them to us and build trust in our team.
What’s involved?
All new puppy families on signing up receive the following:
- A free nurse consult. This gets your pup on their path to wellness with tailored guidance on all the crucial things you need to know.
- A free ebook written by Dr Renee outlining everything you need to remember to keep your pup happy and well.
- 4 consecutive weeks of exclusive clinic visits. These visits bond your pet to our clinic and staff, build their trust in us, and provide lots of positive experiences for them before we have to do anything too scary like clip their nails or take a blood sample for a titre test.
Things you need to know:
- You must be a Tribe Member to attend. Find your Tribe Membership invitation here.
- Once you have paid your (annual) tribe membership fee, you will be invited to schedule your first free nurse consult. During this consult our Holistic Nurse Bec will get you set on your pet’s Path to Wellness, providing guidance on diet, minimal safe vaccine protocols, the role of titre testing, and a tailored prophylactic regime. This consult can be done via telehealth if needed.
- After you have had your nurse consult, we will send your ebook and book your puppy in for their clinic playtime visits!
- Clinic visits will be exclusive – meaning it won’t be a random group of boisterous puppies of various sizes all bunched together. This can invite utter chaos and distraction, and be a less-than positive experience for your pet!
- The ideal time to commence kindy visits is 9-10 weeks of age for puppies, aiming to finish by 16 weeks of age.
This is a unique offering not just locally but globally – there is no other puppy kindy like it! You will receive expert guidance on wellness strategies you can implement now to help your pet live their best life. And your pet’s first few vet visits are positive ones, setting them up for a lifetime of vet visit LOVE!
