Integrative Oncology Support for Veterinarians
At The Natural Vets, we work collaboratively with veterinarians who are managing patients with cancer and would like guidance on integrative oncology treatment options.
Many veterinarians are interested in incorporating supportive therapies such as herbal medicine, nutraceuticals, repurposed medications, or intravenous vitamin C into their treatment plans, but may not have had formal training in these areas.
Our Veterinary Liaison Consults allow colleagues to access integrative oncology expertise while maintaining primary case management of their patients.

Veterinary Liaison Consults
These consultations are designed for veterinarians seeking guidance on integrative cancer treatment options that may complement conventional care.
Consultations are conducted via 15-minute telehealth appointments with our veterinary team.
Following the consult, a written protocol or case summary is provided.
Available Consultation Options
IV Vitamin C Protocol Consult
$155
This consultation focuses specifically on intravenous vitamin C therapy for cancer patients.
This option is suitable for veterinarians who would like to administer IV vitamin C in their own clinic but would like guidance on patient selection and treatment protocols.
Includes:
• 15-minute telehealth consultation
• case-specific dosage guidance
• written IV Vitamin C protocol
• administration and monitoring guidelines
• sourcing information for supplies
This consult is ideal for veterinarians who wish to introduce IV vitamin C therapy into their practice.
Integrative Cancer Case Review Consult
$199
This consultation provides broader guidance for veterinarians managing cancer patients who may benefit from an integrative approach.
Includes:
• 15-minute telehealth consultation
• discussion of the patient’s case
• guidance on integrative treatment options
• basic nutrition guidance
• written summary with protocol recommendations
Depending on the case, guidance may include:
• Chinese herbal medicine
• Nutraceuticals
• CBD oil prescribing
• Repurposed medication prescribing (eg ivermectin, fenbendazole)
• Supportive therapies to improve quality of life
We can provide access to recommended medications via our holistic dispensary where required.
Case summaries are requested prior to the consultation to ensure the discussion is as productive as possible.
Collaborative Care
These consultations are designed to support the treating veterinarian.
The primary veterinarian remains responsible for the patient’s ongoing care and treatment decisions.
Our role is to provide additional expertise in integrative oncology to help expand available treatment options.
Note that we are NOT Oncology Specialists, but have decades of experience using integrative modalities in the field of cancer care.
Payment
Consultations are booked online and prepaid, consistent with standard telehealth policies.
In most cases, the client pays the consultation fee, as the protocol is specific to their pet’s treatment plan.
If the consultation relates to general clinic protocols rather than a specific patient, clinic payment may be more appropriate.

To make the consultation as useful as possible, please provide the following via email (hello@thenaturalvets.com.au) when booking:
